As if terrible 2s aren't hard enough, she is a freaking TV junky and quite demanding. My wife tends to just placate her and gives her TV in the den, DVD in the car. I try to be tougher, but boy does my daughter throw a fit for "Kermit" "The Pets" "Gabba". She spends 3 days a week with my sister-in-law and while it's not the TV-focused daycare you mentioned, the only way to avoid a breakdown during drop-off is offering TV. I can then usually escape without any notice. With most things at daycare, I just choose not to think about what happens while she's there. And I too find them all extremely irritating. Luckily my daughter is too young to understand them (21 months) and by the time she is old enough the group will change names 3 times and disband. I find the tall, lanky kid with over-exaggerated facial expressions to be the most annoying, followed by the red haired girl.
